About Nashville Predators

The Nashville Predators became the 27th team in the National Hockey League on May 4, 1998 and over the years have gone from being a fledgling expansion franchise to becoming an integral part of the Middle Tennessee community. Each season, the team strives to achieve its single goal: to become a Stanley Cup hockey team while making Bridgestone Arena the number one sports and entertainment venue in the United States. In 2020 alone, the Nashville Predators organization provided approximately $5.5 million in life-changing funds through One Goal to support a variety of relief efforts, nonprofit organizations and individuals in need. On the ice, the team has achieved historic success in recent seasons by qualifying for the Stanley Cup Playoffs eight straight years, a run marked by a trip to the 2017 Stanley Cup Finals, 2017-18 the Presidents’ Trophy won and earned a second consecutive Central Division title in 2018–19.
