Fantasy Basketball Value Picks: Top DraftKings NBA DFS Bargain Plays for November 25th

There is no day on the calendar that suits a value article better than Black Friday. In fact, it’s almost too on the nose. However, you don’t have to wake up at 2am and queue in the cold to get these offers, you just have to read my texts. Standing outside in front of that Best Buy suddenly doesn’t sound so awful anymore, does it?

We have an NBA list of 13 games tonight. Let’s dive in.

As things stand, the Rockets could be there very understaffed in the run up against the Hawks. Alperen Sengun ($6,400; Bar) is expected to miss Friday’s competition while Bruno Fernando ($4,100; knee) is questionable and has not logged a minute since October 21 due to an injury. Of course, if Fernando is active and starting, he would be the Houston value option to gravitate towards; For now, let’s focus on the asset that we actually know will be available. Garuba will never be a much-used play, but he’s averaging 12.2 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.6 blocks per 36 minutes in 2022-23. As such, it also produces 1.01 DKFP per minute. If Garuba is the Rockets’ only option down the middle, he’ll have a tremendous game, especially when these are two of the faster teams in the league.

The Pistons’ injury report is painful to watch. Cade Cunningham (leg) and Saddiq Bey (ankle) are both sidelined with long-term problems Jaden Ivey ($6,800; knee), Killian Hayes ($5,100; calf) and Hamidou Diallo ($3,200; illness) are all listed as questionable for Friday’s tilt with the Suns. Obviously, Ivey’s availability is very important when forecasting usage in Detroit’s rotation, but even with the rookie playing, there are still plenty of opportunities for under-the-radar contributors. So how about Knox? The former Lotto pick has already managed to play more than 22.5 minutes in the Pistons’ last three competitions, averaging 26.0 DKFP in the process. That’s exactly 1.07 DKFP per minute within the same range, with Knox reporting a true shooting percentage of .875. While I doubt the efficiency will last much longer, if a few of those questionables go dormant, Knox could suddenly spring into action and fire off a lot of shots.

This is an interesting spot. CJ McCollum (Health Protocols) will be unavailable for a second straight competition Friday night so Alvarado should be in line to pull off his fourth start of the season. In 29.5 minutes of work Wednesday, Alvarado had just five points but dished out nine assists and grabbed three steals on his way to 26.25 DKFP. However, it was Devonte’ Graham ($3,500) that had the more notable performance, registering 21 points and 32.5 DKFP. Will Graham, who is $300 cheaper, be the more popular option on this 13-game board? I really hope so. Alvarado and most of the Pelicans’ other starters were kept under 30 minutes against the Spurs due to an uncompetitive script – which I doubt will be the case against the Grizzlies. Alvarado is the better player, he contributes in more categories and that’s why he’s the New Orleans value asset I want in my lineups.
