Season 4 release date has been brought forward by Netflix

If you’re a fan of You, then you’re in luck because Netflix has just gone and brought forward the Season 4 release date!

The gripping drama starring Penn Badgley as the sinister Joe Goldberg is set to return in two parts.

However, the first installment initially fell on Friday February 10, 2023, and part two was to follow on March 10, 2023.

However, the streaming giant has now announced that the first part will actually be released on February 9th, with the second following on March 9th.

Ok, it’s only a day earlier, though quiet that means less time waiting to find out what other vicious lengths Joe is willing to go to in the name of love.

In response to the date change, fans on Twitter could hardly contain their excitement as they shared a poster of Joe standing on a busy London street.

“I’m ready,” one fan wrote, while another tweeted, “Joe’s internal monologues are going crazy again.”

But in a few months you, viewers, won’t exactly be waiting patiently.

While one fan accused Netflix of “playing with my emotions,” another said, “However, February seems like a century away.”

In the meantime, let’s look at seasons 1, 2 and 3.

In Season 4, following the brutal events of Season 3, Joe takes on a new identity to start his new life in the English capital.

Similar to Season 2, Mr. Goldberg will begin a new chapter by assuming the identity of Professor Jonathan Moore and using his impressive book knowledge to blend into his new crowd.

Though he promises to keep his “typical extracurricular activities strictly professional,” and those familiar with Joe know what he’s capable of.

Alongside the killer everyone loves to hate, Uncharted actress Tati Gabrielle returns as Joe’s brief love interest, Marienne Bellamy.

There will also be some new faces in Season 4 – and we’re already worried about their fate.

Former EastEnders stars Amy-Leigh Hickman (Nadia) and Tilly Keeper (Phoebe) will make their Netflix debut as show regulars.

According to Deadline, Amy plays Nadia, a literature student who aspires to be a serious writer.

Meanwhile, Tilly plays Lady Phoebe. The Louise Mitchell star is said to have landed a role on the popular show last month when it was announced you were moving production to the UK.

You Season 4 Part 1 returns to Netflix on February 9, 2023 and Part 2 premieres on March 9.
